HOMESTEAD STARTS TWO VN CLASSES
IN NOVEMBER -
NOW IS THE TIME TO
JOIN
Homestead Schools, Inc. is starting two new vocational
nursing programs in November: one is a part-time weekend program and the other
is a full-time evening program. The part-time program is offered on Sat. - Sun.
from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and runs 20 months. The evening program is offered during
the week from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and runs for 12 months. If you've been looking
to join a VN program then you should grab this opportunity for it's unlikely
that the school will offer this schedule again until January, 2012.
The school offers financial aid and federally guaranteed
loans to those students who qualify. Each student is evaluated individually and
you'll need to come in and talk to the student counselor.
Money, or the lack of it, is often the biggest impediment
to pursuing a career and make that dramatic life-altering change. Many
students have been turned away in the past because they did not have the
personal funds to pay for the tuition or could not qualify for a Sallie Mae
student loan. Now with the grants and the loans available there's no reason for
you to hold back your plans.
Homestead has a few openings in its weekend program
starting in November. You should make an appointment with the student
counselors today and see if you can qualify for the aid and the
loans. They can be reached at (310) 791-9975.
